I design stories with bright colors and directional patterns.

Gradated colors and shifting shapes signify transition and hopeful movement. My art visually breaks down massive life transitions into my favorite elements of design - repetition, pattern, movement and unity. The foundation of woven textiles and thoughtfully designed spaces, these elements express far more than what can be touched or seen. My current collection forms a timeline of change spanning the last three years.

Background
After earning a BA in Studio Art at Wheaton College, MA, I shared my love for patterns and color with aspiring designers as a founding member of an art and design education center in Boston. These years spent inventing architecture and interior design lesson plans inspired a career change. I currently work at an interior design firm in Washington, DC, where beauty continues to inspire my creations, both on canvas and in my life.
